Dr. Christensen was born and raised in Ames, IA.
She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Iowa State University in 2017. She then went on to veterinary school and graduated with a doctorate in veterinary medicine from ISU in 2021. After graduation, Dr. Christensen worked as an emergency veterinarian in the Kansas City area before moving back to Iowa to be closer to family.
In her free time, Dr. Christensen enjoys scuba diving, camping, and exploring new hiking trails with her husband Jacob and their two dogs, Archie and Suko.
