Dr Carroll grew up in a small town in Illinois, developing a passion for all animals.
She went to Iowa State University and received a bachelor’s of animal science in 2017. She continued her schooling at Iowa State and graduated from the veterinary college with her DVM in 2021.
Following graduation she worked at a mixed animal practice in rural Illinois before moving back to the Des Moines area. She lives with her husband and children, and they enjoy spending time together outside. Her particular interests include gardening and painting.
