Is it an emergency?
The following information is intended to be a guideline. If you
have any questions or concerns about the health of your pet,
please don't hesitate to call us any time of day or night at

VOMITING:

If your pet has vomited more than 3-4 times per hour for 2
consecutive hours, has been vomiting consistently for more than
24 hours, or if your pet is vomiting blood, CALL RIGHT AWAY!

| DIARRHEA: |
If your pet has more than 5-6 episodes of diarrhea in a 24 hour
period,, or if stools are dark black, CALL RIGHT AWAY! For
recommendations regarding non-emergency diarrhea,

| TOXINS: |
If you are concerned your pet has ingested a foreign substance,
CALL RIGHT AWAY! For more information on what constitutes
a toxin, click here.

| SEIZURES: |
If your pet is having a seizure that has lasted longer than 2-3
minutes, or if your pet has had more than 1 seizure in the last
24 hours, CALL RIGHT AWAY!

| BREATHING: |
If your pet appears to be having difficulty breathing (i.e.
open-mouthed breathing in cats or any type of abdominal/labored
breathing), CALL RIGHT AWAY!
