Steve Safris, DVM

Doctor Safris was born and raised in central Iowa.  He graduated from Urbandale High School in 1993 and went on to Augustana College in Illinois, where he earned his bachelor's degree in biology in 1997. 

In 2001, he finished graduate school at Iowa State University with a doctorate in veterinary medicine.  He practiced for two years in Ames before returning to the Des Moines area to open Westfield Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Safris and his wife Kate and children Luke, Ali and Will, live in Johnston with their dog and two cats.
